Algonquin College's project management post graduate students are seeking unpaid project management placements
Algonquin College's project management post graduate students are seeking unpaid project management placements for May to Aug 2019. As part of Algonquin College’s Project Management Graduate Certificate program, qualified students are required to complete a field placement for a minimum of 60 hours. If your organization is in Ottawa and needs project management support, please submit a request at https://www.algonquincollege.com/business/program/project-management/applied-project/.
The host organization and student negotiate the hours and days to be worked per week exclusively on project management tasks. The field placement may span a portion of the semester or the entire semester totaling 60 hours. Field placements are typically unpaid, however, at the discretion of the host organization, students may be paid a wage or an honorarium.
If you require further information or assistance in completing your application, the Algonquin College contact for all field placement inquires is Andrea Fobert, Project Management Graduate Certificate Program Coordinator, foberta@algonquincollege.com.
This is a great opportunity to initiate or re-ignite a project, using highly trained PMs.
Please note: The last date for students to finalize their field placement is Monday, 27 May 19, so if you are interested in this opportunity, please act immediately.
