Topic #1:  Risk Management
Our Presenter, Larry Gunn, will present a quick refresher into the PMI Project Risk Management processes (Risk Identification, Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis, Planning Risk Responses and Monitoring & Control).  Larry will cover some real world examples during his presentation.   

Presenter #1: Larry Gunn 

Larry Gunn, EMBA, PMP is currently a Program Manager at Empire Life Insurance Company.  He has a global mindset in leading multicultural teams based in different countries. Acknowledged as having strong team leadership and communication skills. Versatile, strategic and analytical with outstanding problem-solving skills. Energized by finding solutions to challenging problems and developing staff to their fullest potential.  

Larry has 20 years of valuable Project Management experience working in Banking and Insurance Corporations in various countries including Canada, Singapore and India. 

Topic #2: Stakeholder Management and Benefits Realization
A quick refresher in the PMI Stakeholder Management best practices with a particular focus on Benefit Realization.  We will also discuss some Benefits Realization Case studies.

Presenter #2: Raji Al-Ani PMP, C.Eng, M.Sc, PhD, P.Eng, PEO
Raji Alani is a Senior Project Management expert with extensive experience since 1989 in Engineering Project Management. In addition to he has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, he is holding a Doctorate in Engineering Project Management and Masters of Science in Construction Project Management, all from Universities in United Kingdom. His experience has covered both academic and industrial sides of Project Management. His academic side concentrated on teaching many under-graduate and post-graduate courses in Engineering Project Management since 1987 for many International and Canadian Universities and Colleges, as well as has over 80 researches in Engineering Project Management and application of PMI Knowledge areas in managing engineering projects, most of them published in international journal. He also conducted and directed over 50 training courses and workshops in Engineering Project Management and understanding PMI Project Management Knowledge Areas.

is industrial valuable experience extends over 30 years, through which he held many management positions such as: deputy project manager, project manager and construction manager. He also held many international project management consultancy positions, in various countries. Including; Canada, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Bahrain, and Qatar. He is certified as a Professional Engineer PEng. from APEGA (Alberta) and PEO (Ontario), and certified as Project Management Professional PMP and currently holding a position of a Project Management Consultant for an engineering corporation in Ontario is addition to his lecturing Engineering Project Management for Civil Engineering students in Loyalist College and RMCC.
