Participants in this 3-day session will learn the techniques of Agile Project Management through simulations and examples from real-world projects that used these methods to control changing requirements.
This course is designed to meet the educational requirements for three agile certifications: the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) exam, the Certified Agile Project Manager (Cert.APM) exam, and the Scrum Master Certification (SMC). Registration for any of the exams must be made with the relevant organization and is not part of this registration.
You will receive 21 PDUs (Technical: 17, Leadership: 1, Strategic & Business: 3) or 21 contact hours of training in agile practices during the course.
Although there is no formal pre-requisite for this course, it is assumed that participants already have some training or experience in project management. This course does not teach the fundamentals of project management; rather, it explains how agile practices are different from more conventional practices -- it does not teach the conventional practices.
Participants will receive the course workbook containing course handouts, presentation materials, worksheets and a copy of Kevin Aguanno’s best-selling book Managing Agile Projects. Participants also receive the DVD Scrum in Under 10 Minutes.
The workbook includes the “Agile Glossary”, a high-demand reference document we have provided for over 10 years.
Participants also receive online access to templates (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, MS Project files, and more).

Wednesday, February 28, 2018 the doors will open each morning at 7:45AM for sign-in. The course will begin promptly at 8:30AM. Lunch will be 60 minutes each day which is not provided.
