TOPIC:       "Getting Projects Back on Track"

While project delays and cost overruns have always been serious issues, since the global financial crisis, there is now much more scrutiny of delivery. Projects rarely veer off-track by one problem.  It usually takes a series of failed steps along the way to jeopardize a project.  In a recent survey of 52 companies, eleven top factors were identified which contribute to poor project performance, ranging from lack of executive sponsorship to inadequate risk planning. This presentation will discuss the results of the recent study of 52 companies and the key contributors to poor project performance.  Using real life examples, we will discuss challenges on recent projects and how a robust
project management framework can help you to spot problems early and get projects on track quickly.
