How to improve mental health in virtual teams? :)

Session Abstract

Participants will learn how swearing will improve their mental health :).  Next to this important topic, participants will be able to state factors influencing mental health and how to prevent mental health issues. Based on the positive psychology of Seligman, participants will learn one specific tool on how to improve their mental fitness and practice a communication model to address mental health problems at their co-workers in a virtual team environment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Participants will state five driving factors for improvement or decrease mental fitness & mental health on a virtual teams
  • Practice one tool to improve mental fitness & health on a virtual team.
  • Practice a communication model to address possible mental fitness & health problems at a co-worker so that this person is encourage to seek professional help.

Dr. Ralf Friedrich
 was a long-serving volunteer at PMI Germany. He was active in the first release of OPM3. Today he is a leading expert on mental health & fitness on virtual teams. He lives in Hamburg/Germany and operates a global virtual coaching center.

Dirk Doppelfeld is helping companies and project practitioners in improving their processes and skills in project management through consulting, training and coaching. Dirk is of German origin and lives near Orleans/France over 20 years, where he developed profound intercultural competencies.
