Taoufik is a highly experienced project manager with over 36 years of experience in the global rail manufacturing sector. He plays a crucial role in developing large-scale rail infrastructure projects both in Canada and internationally. At times, he acts as a turnkey contractor, managing the construction of complete railway systems; a recent example of this is his involvement in the Edmonton Light Rail line, which opened in 2023. On other occasions, Taoufik represents the interests of public agencies or railway operators, and he also supplies train components to competitors in the industry. Currently residing in Kingston, Taoufik has lived on four continents during his professional journey. He is a proud father of four children and has a passion for endurance horseback racing.
